Happy Monday Folks!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend, full of family, laughter, and of course good food! We’ve had some decent weather here lately in Louisville, hopefully you’ve all had a chance to get out and ride. I had a chance last week to get out and explore some of the roads that Kentucky has to offer. I met up with a few of the fellas from here at the shop, Vic, Joe, Earl, and Erik, and we road some gorgeous back roads from Bluegrass HD to Frankfort. Through horse farms, twists and turns, and what I would refer to as “God’s country”, we had an awesome day crunching miles together.This will be my first Spring in Kentucky so I’m looking forward to seeing this side of the world on two wheels.
In the spirit of riding and adventure, I wanted to share something with you all that I’m pretty excited about. There’s a movie coming out in May called “21 Days Under The Sky” that follows the adventure of a few guys hitting the road on their choppers and seeing life through the handlebars.
“21 DAYS UNDER THE SKY is an unconventional true story about those men who won’t conform. Four guys meet in San Francisco to start a 3,800 mile ride down the Lincoln Highway – the oldest coast to coast route connecting the east to the west. They are riding vintage “choppers”; bikes prone to break down or run out of gas. Through the highs and lows of a long journey, this story examines the timeless American love affair with the motorcycle and an even greater American tradition: the road trip.”
I’m pretty excited to see this movie, and to me the trailer looks like it captures the true spirit of motor cycling and Harley-Davidson. I’ve attached a link to the trailer, check it out and see if maybe it excites you as it did me.
